2023 RACE SERIES STANDINGS

Dates for the 2023 series are set for July 9, August 13 and September 10.

CUT-OFF TIMES

Like last ear we will have cut-off times for each race. Given the limited number of spaces available in our races we are doing this to ensure that the races remain trail RUNNING events and that we can allow as many runners as possible to participate. Cut-off times for each race are listed below and are based on an 18-minute per mile pace.

Scuffle 1 hour 48 minutes
Breaker 2 hours 42 minutes
Bruiser 3 hours 36 minutes

If in past years you’ve participated in any of the races but finished slower than the new cut-off times and you want to participate this year now is the time to step up your trail running game!

We will be making an exception to cut-off times for anyone interested in participating who is 80 and older, or 10 and under. Upon prior request and approval by the race director an early start time for runners in those age groups will be available as follows:

Scuffle 8:30 AM (30 minutes early)
Breaker 8:00 AM (60 minutes early)
Bruiser 7:30 AM (90 minutes early)

All runners starting at the regular start time of 9:00 AM will be subject to the cut-off times. Any runner starting early must finish by the cut-off plus the added early start time.

To be eligible for the Bad Ass hoodie runners must complete all three races of the series within the cut-off times.

A mix of single and double-track trails with a few rolling hills, a great introduction to Maine trail running. This race is dedicated to CHRIS DOUGLASS, a Trail Monster runner and adventurer who’s life ended too soon.

Two laps of an exceptionally hilly, technical single-track trail loop that takes you up and down Bradbury Mountain more times than you can count. If you’re not begging for mercy during the first lap you will be on the second.
